Feroform F44 is a specialist formulation which uses an abrasion-resistant glass fibre to reinforce a temperature resistant phenolic resin, this provides a better vacuum generation from the pump and a more stable vacuum level.

Feroform F44 vanes are suitable for use in high-speed, oil-flooded, vacuum pumps, and is considered to be future proofed for the next generation of heavy duty pumps. This advanced material offers improvements on flatness, abrasion, resistance, chemical resistance, lamination strength and flexural strength.

Allowing for higher temperatures and tighter tolerances, this specialist formulation can be machined to tighter tolerances with extremely smooth surfaces and has set the bar for vane flatness.

F44 vanes have already been specified by market-leading manufacturers of one-stage and two-stage high vacuum sliding vane vacuum pumps, typically used for equipment in laboratories, chemical and petro-chemical, pharmaceutical, vacuum forming and cryogenic environments.
