Tenmat has been a supplier of high performing materials for the glass industry for decades. Whether for conveying surface critical flat glass in the float glass process or for the high paced container glass production lines, our products improves quality of glass products, reduces maintenance needs and improves throughput.

For the float glass industry, we manufacture FF800 millboard covered rollers. FF800 has been the preferred asbestos replacement material since 1979 and is used in the annealing lehrs by the leading glass manufacturers throughout the world.

Being a good insulator and inert from chemical reactions, FF800 reduces rejects and breakages of the glass ribbon.

For the container glass industry, Tenmat has a heritage dating back to the first half of the 20th century with glass contact components machined from our range of cement composite boards. Today these have been replaced by a tougher, longer lasting and higher temperature capable material called Vitronus which significantly reduces maintenance and improves melt to pack ratios compared to conventional materials.
