In the prestigious setting of London’s Tower Hotel, the HVR Awards crowned another batch of leading companies and professionals as champions in front of an esteemed audience of key industry figures. Celebrating its landmark 10th anniversary, the 2019 event continued the scheme’s long-standing tradition of holding the heating and ventilation sector to a standard of excellence.

The task of unveiling this year’s winners fell to television and radio regular, best-selling author and comedian Ian Moore and household favourite, ‘The Voice of the Balls’, Alan Dedicoat, who teamed up to give guests a lot to laugh about as they invited the evening’s winners to the stage.

Among the winners was Tenmat, who were the recipients of the coveted Commercial and Industrial Ventilation Product of the Year for the Fire Rated Valve and Ceiling Fan Fire Stop. A judging panel of esteemed industry experts deemed the product to be a worthy recipient of this accolade, commenting:

“We are impressed by the testing that has gone into this product to ensure that it offers a solution to a current installation issue, whilst also providing a workable solution to reduce fire risk and enabling installers to meet building regulations.”

Following the success of the event, journal manager of HVR magazine, Sharon Holloway commented: “The year’s winners are great advocates for our industry. I would like to thank everyone who entered and voted, our judges, those who attended and the sponsors of the event – without your support, occasions like this wouldn’t be possible.”
