TENMAT’s ongoing commitment to the development of new products and solutions in the field of composite and engineering materials has been recognized several times by receiving the highest official award in Great Britain, the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise.


Manchester based, TENMAT, is delighted to announce that they have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in recognition of outstanding achievements in overseas markets. The Award follows three consecutive years of sustained growth in global business and market share for TENMAT, aided by the expansion of its operations in the United States over the period. This is the second time TENMAT has been honoured with the Award, having collected the prize in the Innovation category in 2012.


This Queen’s Award is particularly focused upon the constant innovation of the range of TENMAT fire protection products including downlight, pipework, ventilation duct and wall cavity fire protection products. These products are renowned for their supreme effectiveness in reducing the spread of fire in buildings and this superior performance has been seen to have improved fire safety Worldwide, this being a major contribution to receiving the award.
