A Proud Moment for Tenmat
Tenmat is proud to announce a major milestone in our journey of innovation and excellence. At the Tall Buildings Media Conference & Awards 2025 held in London, our team was honoured with the Best Tall Building Technology Innovation Award for our groundbreaking brick slip façade solution.
The event, chaired by the esteemed Cecily Davis, brought together industry leaders to explore the future of tall building design and construction. A central theme of the conference was the power of collaboration, a value that resonates deeply with Tenmat’s approach to innovation and progress.

The highlight of the evening came when Adam Taylor and Mark Davies took the stage to accept the award, presented by Cecily herself (pictured). This recognition celebrates Tenmat’s pioneering use of intumescent materials in brick slip systems – an advancement that offers:

- ✅ Third-party validation
- ✅ Easy and reliable application
The award-winning Tenmat solution was developed for Ash and Lacy brick slip façades. It is the first cavity fire barrier range specifically designed for simple integration with intricate rail systems required for brick slip systems that provides proven system specific 3rd party fire tested performance.
As the demand for brick slip façades continues to rise, Tenmat remains at the forefront of the market, building on a legacy that includes the Queen’s Award for Innovation (2019).
This recognition is a testament to the hard work and ingenuity of our team. Designing façade solutions for tall buildings comes with complex technical and regulatory challenges, especially in light of the Building Safety Act. At Tenmat, we work closely with key partners across the industry to develop solutions – like our brick slip cavity barriers – that simplify the process of achieving compliance with the Building Safety Regulator.
