A review of a rewarding, and enjoyable LAMMA 2016 where Tenmat had the pleasure of exhibiting alongside new, exclusive UK distribution partner Spaldings.

Ferobide, as a weld-on wear protection material, boasts more than 5 years of development and successful testing across many diverse industrial applications, an experience upon which Tenmat continues to build. Underlining recent news of Tenmat’s exciting partnership with Spaldings, LAMMA 2016 was the first time we exhibited at the prestigious show. LAMMA is the UK’s largest agricultural machinery show, attracting over 900 exhibitors and 40,000 farmers and trade visitors annually. LAMMA was identified as the best platform for Tenmat to further display the farmer benefits of easy-to-install Ferobide, allowing visitors to experience first hand how this impact resistant tungsten carbide material increases the lifetime of agricultural points and boosts farm productivity.

Alongside the agricultural points which were on show with impact and abrasion resistant Ferobide protection, Tenmat was proud to announce in person the newest partnership on the UK agriculture market. This is an exciting partnership which now brings Ferobide, the most innovative and versatile agricultural wear protection on the market, to Spaldings, the UK’s largest agricultural machinery parts supplier. Managers and directors from both Spaldings and Tenmat were present on the Ferobide stand to discuss the advantages of Ferobide with visitors to the show, such as the fact it is the only weld-on tungsten carbide material which can be cut and customised to fit any point geometry. LAMMA again proved its reputation as the leading UK agricultural machinery show, with the Ferobide stand seeing over 175 visitors across the 2 days, with further visitors purchasing Ferobide tiles directly off the stand.

“The combination of this revolutionary wear material and the unrivalled sales expertise of the Spaldings organisation will ensure that Ferobide sales transform the UK agricultural market within a short time period,” stated Rupert Coggon, Business Development Director for Tenmat. “Tungsten Carbide tiles have long been seen as the benchmark for wear resistant materials, and Ferobide, the weld-on tungsten carbide, now allows the farmers to weld the tiles to suit their own needs. Ferobide is resistant to abrasion and impact, and is set to change the agricultural wear industry, putting control into the farmers’ hands; this fits with the Spaldings philosophy of constantly offering the farmer the latest and best materials for reducing his costs” stated Nigel Whelan, Head of Product Development for Spaldings.

Ferobide is making its first trip across the Atlantic in February. Visit the Tenmat stand 5125 at National Farm Machinery Show in Kentucky from the 10th February to see the benefits of a chip resistant tungsten carbide first hand.
