A loft downlight cover, also known as a loft cap or loft lid, is an enclosed cover that sits over a recessed downlight in the loft. It keeps insulation off the fitting so insulation can be laid right over the light, while the lamp still runs at a safe temperature. Tenmat’s FF120 and FF130 loft covers are tested for heat build-up and are IP6X dust tight.
