Discover at Mila Mässan the High-performance Components from Tenmat which Achieve Longer Life Agricultural Points

Tenmat demonstrates at Mila Mässan 2016 how installing impact resistant tungsten carbide Ferobide increases operational lifetime of soil-engaging-points. Ferobide makes its next stop at this year’s premier agricultural machinery show in Scandinavia, Mila Mässan 2016. Come and visit stand K:09 from 18th February to 20th February in Malmö to learn how Tenmat’s diverse range of innovative wear parts will boost on-farm productivity and yield longer life agricultural points.

Increases in Farm Output made possible when using longer life agricultural points

Mila Mässan is the only show in Sweden to focus on the products and machinery innovations developed specifically to benefit farmers in the area. It is here that Tenmat is exhibiting its entire range of wear parts designed especially to improve lifetime of working parts, which helps to reduce costly downtime, and enable important farm machinery to work to its full potential for longer. It is this combination which makes the Tenmat product range the proven market leader in high-performance wear protection for longer life agricultural points.

Ferobide allows working points to work harder for longer

Amongst the parts on display will be Ferobide, the chip resistant tungsten carbide material being installed worldwide to offer full protection to working tools against both abrasion and heavy impact. The innovative material is welded directly onto a steel point, and sets itself apart because it can be easily customised to suit diverse point geometries. This makes Ferobide the only impact resistant wear protection that can be applied universally whilst also yielding longer life agricultural points. Ferobide contributes to longer life points not only by withstanding heavy impact and abrasion, but also in its easy installation. Ferobide is installed by welding.

Welding maintains the hardness of the metal of the point through its minimal heat affected zone. This is in stark contrast to the involved brazing process required to attach tungsten carbide to steel, a process which heats and subsequently softens an entire point.
Make the trip to our stand, K:09, to see in person exactly how Ferobide and all Tenmat agricultural components offer great benefits on-farm and result in longer life agricultural points. We’d be more than happy to further discuss these advantages covered above at Mila Missän from 18/2/16 to 20/2/16.
